About Brown Sugar Bistro

My favorite memories of coffee didn’t begin in a trendy café, with a high-end espresso machine, or even behind the counter of a coffee shop. They began at my grandmother’s kitchen table, well-worn from over 20 years of family meals and conversations. Every morning, she’d take her time grinding fresh beans and brewing them in a ceramic drip pot. It became our tradition to sit at that table, share stories, talk about life, and simply enjoy each other’s presence.

That early spark grew into a passion for creating meaningful moments with loved ones. As I fell deeper in love with coffee, I found joy in crafting warm, welcoming experiences. My then-boyfriend (now husband!) gifted me my first espresso machine, and from there, everything changed. I poured myself into perfecting latte art, experimenting with new recipes, fine-tuning the flavor of espresso—and most of all, finding fulfillment in serving others.

Today, I get to share that joy through our mobile coffee bar. At Brown Sugar Bistro, we believe what sets us apart is the heart behind our service. We’re passionate about delivering exceptional coffee and specialty beverages, always served with a genuine smile. We are based in Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland.
